As a leading recovery housing grant writer, Recovery Movement Consulting (RMC) is proud to announce the successful acquisition of a $300,000 award on behalf of Project WisHope through Rock County’s RFP #2025-07. This significant funding will support the launch of a new, highly accessible recovery residence dedicated to serving Rock County residents with opioid use disorder.
Supporting Recovery Locally in Rock County, Wisconsin
Project WisHope’s proposal aligned directly with Rock County’s goals by offering a specialized housing model focused exclusively on individuals recovering from opioid addiction. With help from RMC’s experienced recovery housing grant writing team, the proposal stood out as a community-driven, peer-informed solution to a growing crisis.
The newly funded recovery residence will be located in Rock County and reserved for local residents. WisHope ensures multiple access points through treatment centers, hospitals, justice partners, and self-referrals—making the program one of the most accessible recovery housing models in the region.
Affordable, Barrier-Free Recovery Housing
With low rental rates and limited deposits or service fees, Project WisHope is eliminating the financial hurdles that often prevent individuals from accessing stable housing during early recovery.
Additional accessibility features include:
Flexible intake hours, including non-traditional times
Transportation support through bus passes, rideshare vouchers, and direct ride services
A flexible pass system for residents with caregiving responsibilities
Possible financial assistance.
As a recovery housing grant writer, RMC showcased how these strategies would directly meet Rock County’s goal of expanding timely and equitable access to supportive housing.
Certified, Standards-Based Program Design
Project WisHope’s model is rooted in national best practices. As a certified provider through the Wisconsin Association of Sober Housing (W.A.S.H. Community), WisHope aligns with standards set by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR).
These certifications demonstrate WisHope’s commitment to:
Ethical, peer-integrated service delivery
Resident rights protections
Ongoing quality assurance
Compliance with Wisconsin’s Recovery Residence Registry Approval Process
With support from a recovery housing grant writer who understands these frameworks, WisHope’s proposal offered Rock County confidence in both execution and sustainability.
