About

his course is designed and facilitated by Shannon Egan, a woman in long-term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction since January 2011. Shannon's journey is a powerful testament to the impact of divine intuition and the transformative power of creativity in recovery.

Following an intuitive calling, Shannon embarked on a journey to Africa, at the age of 25, where she found a life-changing opportunity as a journalist for the UN. Her impactful work led her to NYC, where she served as a Press Officer for UNFPA after successfully securing a literary agent for her memoir, No Tourists Allowed.

In 2011, facing the depths of addiction fueled by unprocessed trauma, Shannon returned to the creative practices she knew best—journaling, creative writing, and visualization—to rebuild her life. Today, she channels these methods to support others in recovery, helping them tap into their creative genius for lasting emotional healing.

As an award-winning grant writer, accomplished author, motivational speaker, and the CEO and Founder of Recovery Movement Consulting, Shannon champions authentic creative expression and intuitive discovery as a vital pathway to thriving in recovery, unlocking a life filled with passion and purpose.
