Welcome to RMC
Hi, I’m Shannon Egan — Founder & CEO of Recovery Movement Consulting, and a woman in long-term recovery since 2011.
My path to this work began in recovery community organizations here in Utah, where I found both healing and purpose. As a longtime professional writer and journalist, I knew I wanted to give back to the communities that helped save my life — and grant writing became my way of doing that.
The mission of Recovery Movement Consulting is deeply personal: to help behavioral health nonprofits build sustainable, resilient programs in an increasingly competitive funding landscape.
RMC is the nation’s only peer-led behavioral health grant writing and fundraising firm. Our team is made up entirely of individuals in long-term recovery or those directly impacted by addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions — bringing lived experience and professional expertise to every partnership.
